DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN KIGALI & TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional guide from Mahogany Travel Expeditions.

Your adventure begins with a scenic drive through Rwanda's famous rolling hills before crossing into Uganda via the Cyanika Border or Katuna Border.

DAY 2: GORILLA TREKKING & TRANSFER TO LAKE BUNYONYI

Wake up early to the sounds of the forest and enjoy a hearty breakfast before heading to the park headquarters.

After registration and a briefing from Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers, venture into the dense rainforest accompanied by experienced trackers in search of one of Bwindi's mountain gorilla families.

The trek can take anywhere from 1 to 6 hours, depending on the gorillas' movements, but every step through this ancient rainforest is part of the adventure.

Once you find the gorillas, you'll spend an awe-inspiring one full hour observing their fascinating behaviors—watching playful infants, protective silverbacks, and nurturing mothers in their natural environment.

After this once-in-a-lifetime experience, return to the park headquarters where you'll receive your official Gorilla Trekking Certificate.

Following lunch, continue your journey to the breathtaking Lake Bunyonyi, one of Africa's deepest and most picturesque lakes.

Check in to your lakeside lodge and spend the evening enjoying spectacular sunset views over the calm waters, surrounded by lush green hills and scattered islands.

DAY 3: LAKE BUNYONYI BOAT CRUISE & RETURN TO KIGALI
